DV Safe Phone and their Salesforce Story
When Ashton Wood learned that many domestic violence victims lacked access to a mobile phone, he recognised an opportunity to help. What started as a simple idea, connecting unused phones with people in need, has grown into DV Safe Phone, a national charity supporting victims through a network of domestic violence agencies, police stations, hospitals, and safe houses across Australia.
In this inspiring session, Ashton shares the story behind DV Safe Phone, the impact a single device can have on someone's safety and independence, and how technology professionals can use their skills, networks, and resources to create meaningful social change. This is a powerful reminder that even small actions can make a life-changing difference.
